Daytona State 2009 Future Falcon Prospect Camp AUGUST 22, 2009
The "2009 Future Falcon Prospect Camp" is the first chance for rising juniors and seniors to showcase their talents in front of the Falcon Coaching Staff and other collegiate coaches from the area! Showcase participants will be receive a tour of our facilities, as well as learn about life as a member of the Falcon squad and Falcon Development. Prospects will have the option to call or email the falcon coaching staff for a personal evaluation and feedback.

The Falcon Baseball Development Program:
With the amount of interest in Falcon Baseball from high school players, the athletic department has created the highly successful Developmental Program. • Encourages overlooked or non recruited athletes to continue playing and improving • Fosters development of baseball skills and abilities • Affords an opportunity for players to show that they are capable of competing at the college level • Provides instruction from college coaches • Lets players to train and learn in a climate more conducive to baseball for 12 months of the year. • Allows players to pursue an associate’s degree from Daytona State Players will be able to: • Take Batting Practice with their hitting coach/Throw Bullpen sessions with their pitching coach • Perform defensive drills with their position coach • Scrimmage against each other • Scrimmage against the Falcon Baseball Team
