2011 Swim Team Sign-Ups
Swim season is quickly approaching and once again the Stingrays are looking forward to a strong season. We are
confident that many of our Waterford Pool families will want to be a part of the 2011 team. We are waiting to hear if our
Head Coach from last year, Tony Chen, will have a local apprenticeship allowing him to serve as our Head Coach again.
Any child aged 5 - 18, who is a member of the Waterford pool and who can swim the length of the Waterford pool without
stopping or holding onto the lane lines, may join the team.
Registration for the upcoming season will be held:
Monday, May 9
4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
In May go to our website, waterfordstingrays.com, to download all registration forms.
The registration fee this year will be on a graduated scale: $50.00 for the 1st two children from a family, $45 for the 3
child, and $40 for all other children. BRING YOUR CALENDAR because parents will sign up to volunteer at registration.
We will also take T-shirt orders. Suits will be available to purchase either at registration or at Swim Gear in Clemmons.
As always, team suits are encouraged, but not required.

While we always enjoy winning, the Waterford Swim Team encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal
improvement. Our goal is to provide a safe, positive swimming experience for our children and families. Parent
participation is as important as our swimmers. Each family will be required to volunteer several times during the season.
There will be a practice meet to help train parents (with swimmers age 10 and under) to be timers, clerks of course, etc.
We look forward to the summer and another great swim season! Should you have any questions or are interested in
helping the team with any of the various volunteer opportunities, please feel free to contact any one of us.
