                                     Time Collection (TC) Time Entry Tip Sheet
Directly Access Time Collection
1.   Using a web browser, enter the following URL address:
     http://portal.asrcfederal.com.

2.   Click on Time Collection 6 icon                      . This
     directs you to the Deltek Login screen without going
     through the portal.
3.   In the Login ID field, enter your Employee Number.
4.   The Password is your Social Security Number (no
     dashes) the first time you log into Time Collection. The
     system will prompt you to change your password if it is
     the first time accessing the new system.
5.   After filling in both fields, press Enter or click the Login
                   icon.
Tips:
 Your new password must be at least 6 characters in
    length, a maximum of 12 characters, no special characters
    (#, @, %, etc.) and may not begin with “SQL”.
 Time Collection is also accessible through the portal. Log
    in to the portal, click on My Employee Kiosk, then click on
    Time Collection.

Prepare Timesheet
1. Based on your system setting either the Deltek splash
   screen or your timesheet displays. If the splash screen
   displays, click on Timesheet in the upper left corner.
2. First, check to make sure you are in the correct timesheet
   period. You can confirm this by checking the Weekly
   Timesheet Schedule Period Ending date near the top
   right corner.
3. To prepare the Timesheet in order to enter time, click on
   the first empty line of the timesheet. Click on the
   Lookup button. This will bring up a Charge Lookup
   screen. You will see two lines, Favorites and Charges.
   These lines will expand and show the individual charges
   within each folder when you click the blue box to the left of
   the selection.
4. Select Charges. A list of codes you may use to charge
   time is displayed. Select a charge by clicking the blue box
   to the left of the charge code.
5. Click the                   Add to Timesheet button. The
   charge code will be entered into your timesheet.

Tips:
 Remember, to make a selection click on the blue box to
    the left of the item you want to select.
 Sometimes the system may need a few moments to
    process data after a transaction has been initiated. If this is
    the case, a                   message will display at the top
    of the Timesheet.

Access to Time Collection via Employee Self Service (ESS) – Option
1.   Using a web browser, enter the following URL address:
     http://portal.asrcfederal.com.

2.   Click on Employee Kiosk icon                  . This directs
     you to the Employee Self Service (ESS) without going
     through the portal.
3.   In the Login ID field, enter your Employee Number.
4.   The PIN (or Password) is your Social Security Number
     (no dashes) the first time you log into ESS\Time
     Collection. The system will prompt you to change your
     password if it is the first time accessing the new system.
5.   After filling in both fields, press              Login.
Tips:
 Your new password must be at least 6 characters in
    length, a maximum of 12 characters, no special characters
    (#, @, %, etc.) and may not begin with “SQL”.

1. The ESS Home Page will appear. Go to the Personal
   Data section in the upper left corner. Click on Timesheet,
   the last option on the list. The Timesheet screen is
   displayed.

Prepare Timesheet – Favorites Option
 Favorites can be used to simplify charge code entry for a
 future timesheet(s).
 1. Once a charge code has been added to the Timesheet,
    click the blue box to the left of the charge to highlight it.
 2. Click the Add Line to Favorites link displayed at the top
    of the screen to add the charge to your list of most often
    used charges.
 3. You may manually select from this Favorites list on future
    timesheets.

Tips:
 The Favorites feature also allows for automatically loading
    charges on future timesheets. Select the Favorites option
    from the Charge Lookup screen. Click the Load
    checkbox to the left of each charge you wish to
    automatically display on future timesheets. Click the
    Update button on the bottom of the screen.



Enter Time
 1. To enter time, click in the date cell where you wish to input
    hours and type in the correct number of hours.
 2. Hours worked should be recorded at the end of each day.
 3. When you have finished entering hours for the time you
    have worked on each charge, click             Save near the
    top left of the screen.
 4. Close the Timesheet by clicking on the       Close icon on
    your browser.

Tips:
 When hours charged are saved, the system automatically
    calculates Charge Code line totals and daily and
    timesheet totals. You may see totals prior to saving the
    record by tabbing to the next field after entering your
    hours.


Sign Timesheet
 1. At the end of the timesheet period, you will need to sign

    your timesheet. Click on the       Signature icon in the
    lower left corner of the screen. Enter your password as
    your electronic signature. The Status of the Timesheet will
    change to Signed.

Tips:

 Your timesheet must be signed before your supervisor can
  approve it. Your timesheet must be approved before
  Payroll can process a paycheck.
