Admission Requirements

• MCT4C minimum for almost all programs
• Exceptions are Woodworking and IT programs
• 10% bonus given to U level math courses in
  grade 11 and 12 (except MDM4U)
• 10% bonus given to U level English courses in
  grade 11 and 12
• Applicants academically ranked based on math
  and English marks
Why MCT4C?

• MAP4C does not adequately prepare the
  students for engineering technology
• College technology programs are rigorous and
  intensive
• On average, students are more successful if
  they have advanced/academic math
  preparation
Rigour of Eng/IT Programs

• 22 – 25 hours of class per week
• 6 – 8 courses per semester
• 15 week semesters
• weekly assignments in most courses
• 2 – 3 tests per course or major projects
