Position:                                    HR Administrator

Location of Position:                        Washington, DC – 1211 Connecticut Ave., NW Suite 700
Requirements:                                Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Related Fields.

Education:                                   1-2 years of direct or support experience in the administration of benefits plans and programs.
                                             Experience with benefits using HRIS desirable. Experience with government contractor and/ or
Prior Work Experience:                       with overseas staff a plus.
Software Experience:                         Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong skills in MS Access and experience
                                             with Deltek desirable.


IRG seeks a HR Administrator to administer, process, and maintain IRG’s benefits plans. Applicants must be able to effectively interface with
all staff in the performance of his/ her duties. Additional requirements are a basic knowledge of standard benefits practices, procedures and
mandated requirements. This position will be filled in the Accounting, Contracts and Administration Division; direct supervisor will be IRG’s HR
Manager. Salary level to be determined, commensurate with experience. Benefits include vacation, holidays, sick leave, health, dental and life
insurances, and the opportunity to join IRG’s 401K plan.

Job Description:
      Handles new hire benefits enrollments, change reporting and termination procedures; prepares open enrollment notifications.
      Processes HR new hire forms (W-4, I-9, state tax withholdings, etc.)
      Receives and distributes benefits related documentation to staff (Insurance cards)
      Administers COBRA for health and dental, including notifications, payment processing and termination from COBRA.
      Organizes and maintains benefits files for plans (contracts, forms) and for employees (forms, claims, confidential).
      Orders and organizes benefits plan information and forms for ready access
      Assembles benefits packages and supports Orientation of new hires
      Maintains an updated contact list of all benefits brokers and plan providers.
      Maintains tracking and processes payment of insurance invoices
      Prepares data for plan renewals, as requested.
      Assists in preparing/updating benefits summaries for internal use and distribution, including maintaining the benefits information
       located in the HR area on OASIS.
      Supports the organization and delivery of information sessions about benefits to IRG staff.
      Assists IRG staff with individual claims and questions.
      Prepares check requests for approval and payment of benefits.
      Conducts exit interviews
      Processes exit memos and HR termination forms
      Other duties as assigned.
