Planning the Learning Experiences: What teaching and learning experiences will equip students to demonstrate the
targeted standards?

 Students will do a short research project on a topic of their choice within Force and Motion. They will
share findings in a power point presention.
 Students will use www.tappedin.org to share information with each other about their research.
 Students will complete several on-line activities: Free Fall Tower, Roller Coaster
 Students will do lab activities from Newton’s Toy Box kit, and the Simple Machines kit
 Students will help construct vocabulary meanings, and put those vocabulary words in their lab packet.

Technology Integration: How is technology used to add value to the learning process?
Students will use Lap tops to work with the Explore Learning activities. They will also be using computers
to research and create power points. The laptops will be used when they participate in the Tapped in chats.
