Whole School Positive Behaviour Reward System
We recognize that the greater majority of our students behave appropriately most of the time.
We seek to acknowledge this and reward them for their positive efforts. This system is to
operate for every student in the school. It is intended to be simple and therefore easy to
implement, whilst effectively achieving its goal. It will operate as follows:
No time outs in class
No time outs in the playground GOLD STUDENT

Classroom referral to the Office will result in an immediate drop to
STUDENT OF THE WEEK AWARDS
Each week at least two students from each class will receive an Award on assembly.
It is expected that receiving public acknowledgement in this way will represent positive
reinforcement for most students.
SEVERE CLAUSE: At the discretion of the Principal and the class teacher
Bronze students will not be entitled to attend any extracurricular activities,
interschool sport or excursions, whilst they remain on Bronze level.
Students who receive an in school or out of school suspension will not be
entitled to attend the Reward Day in that term, regardless of what behaviour
level they have attained by the end of the term.
