TRMC Chief Executive Officer Ron Davis and Foundation Presi-
dent Lonnie Smith welcomed over 45 teams of four players each to the
day long tournament. All proceeds from the tournament support Titus
Regional Medical Center through various Foundation initiatives dur-
ing the year. The winning teams this year were all local.
Early results indicate a record high level of participation and money
raised by this effort.

The Mount Pleasant Cancer Crusade held its 3rd Annual
Fun Run event Saturday, September 18, 2010 in conjunction
with the Titus Regional Medical Foundation. All proceeds will
benefit the Patty and Bo Pilgrim Cancer Center. The event
included a 5K run/walk as well as a Kid’s Fun Ride.
Approximately one hundred runners and walkers participat-
ed in the 5K trek through Dellwood Park which began at 8:30
a.m. This was followed at 10:00 a.m. with bikers and trikers for
their special event.
This event began two years ago and is the brainchild of
three young ladies who went to high school together in Mount
Pleasant. Amanda Johnson, Nancy Johnson and Mary Kath-
ryn Milam, along with a host their high school buddies, ap-
proached the Foundation about the event.
We are pleased and grateful that these three young ladies
chose the Patty and Bo Pilgrim Cancer Center as the recipient
of their efforts.
