Interactive Teaching Programs (ITPs)
ITP Highlights
Absolutely free. Very little computing experience needed to use. No annoying pop ups. Downloadable to use anywhere. A smashing teaching tool for those difficult mathematical concepts. Children find them exciting and fun. Can be used by teachers to demonstrate to the full class or can be used by individual children.

ITPs were created by the British Government to support educators in teaching various mathematical concepts. These tools are just as relevant for use in the USA as they are in the UK. ITPs are programs that can be used directly from the website or can be downloaded from the site for ease of use. At this time there are 38 programs available. With the blue backgrounds and the simple buttons which are alike on each program, the ITPs are easy to use for computer novices. ITPs are an excellent resource; something you can immediately take back to the classroom to use. There is no sign up. Just select your choice of program and have fun teaching using 21st century tools that the children will love.
To access the ITPs, just use the website address at the top of the page and type ITPs in the search bar. There are also great resources on this site.
