Flu Remedies: New Chinese Herb Cures Influenza



Influenza is one of the worst illnesses that anyone could ever have. It does not feel
good to have the flu and it is actually very dangerous if left untreated.

Now, once you get the flu, all you really want to do is to find more ways to cure it as
soon as possible. And a recent study showed that you can get that cure from a
traditional Chinese herb called maxingshigan-yinqiaosan, and yes, it is a handful to say!

But even Western medicine is recognizing its effectiveness. Actually, the maxingshigan-
yinqiaosan is a perfect cure even for the notorious H1N1 influenza, but for mild cases
only.

According to reports, the maxingshigan-yinqiaosan can even work better than the
antiviral drug Tamiflu. Of course, the problem is that maxingshigan-yinqiaosan is not
widely available on pharmacies, so far.

In a study of 410 Chinese adults with the H1N1 flu, their fevers were cured after about
16 hours from taking the herb mixture.

The researchers, however, pointed out that the maxingshigan-yinqiaosan has its own
limitations- it is not that effective for people who have a severe case of the swine flu
(H1N1).

China is known for its traditional and natural way of medicine. Some of its methods are
sometimes very weird for some but if you think about it, there are many Chinese
discoveries that work very well like acupuncture, the abacus (and the famous abacus
math learning strategy) and many more.

Now, here are some more tips for a speedy flu recovery:

   1. Consult your doctor! Be sure to not self-medicate and consult your doctor first to
      make sure that you will get the right diagnosis and medication.
   2. Drink lots of water. Nothing is worse than a person who has the flu and is
      dehydrated. Make sure that you have access to drinking water all the time. You
      should also drink juices and tea to dilute toxins.
   3. Rest as much as possible. Sometimes, flu is your body’s way of telling you that
      you are overworked and stressed. You need to give yourself a break.
   4. Keep your feet warm to help blood circulation.
   5. Always wash your hands to make sure that your flu virus wouldn’t be spread
      around.
   6. If you have severe colds and sore throat, eat or chew on some raw garlic, this
      would help improve your immune system, thus speeding up your recovery.
   7. Eat healthy and have lots of fruits and vegetables in your meals.

Of course, if you do have a Chinese herb store near your area, you can try out this new
Chinese discovery in curing flu. It just might be worth your time and health!
