Earthquake Safety Program

Earthquake Safety Program Notification Temporary Changes to Parking At Rockridge Station July 2009 Dear BART Patron: Stage 4 of the BART Earthquake Safety Program construction at the Rockridge Station is set to begin in early August. To accommodate BART permit holders assisted parking will be provided. DAJA International LLC is the company that will be providing this service. DAJA has 15 years experience in assisted parking and manage similar operations at The University of California at Berkeley and at the San Francisco State University Foundation. The assisted parking required in Stage 4 is for BART Permit Holders only. Hours of operation are 6:00AM-10:00PM, Monday through Friday, except for holidays. Assisted parking will be available in the western parking lot, once spaces in the eastern parking lot at Stage 4 are filled. Below is a diagram showing the area. Parking lot users will be asked to turn their keys over to the attendants, who will park cars in the aisles to fit more cars into the lot. Attendants will be in uniforms and will issue tickets to ensure proper return of your vehicle. Vehicles that are left after 10:00PM can be retrieved the next business day Monday – Friday after 6:00AM. In case of an emergency, you can call 415.710.6269 to retrieve your vehicle. A $50 fee may be required. We appreciate your patience and cooperation during this work and will attempt to minimize construction-related noise, dust and inconvenience.
