 This popular YMCA event will be played on Saturday, August 8 at Centerview Golf Course. The
 format is a four-person scramble – pick two, draw two. Twosomes must be registered by Friday,
 July 31. The cost is $65.00 per golfer and includes green fees, cart, “tacos at the turn”, and lunch
 at the end of the tournament. Awards are presented to the top three teams and to the winners on
 special prize holes. There will also be numerous door prizes.
 Golfers are asked to be at the course by 8:00 a.m. for the 9:00 a.m. shotgun start. All proceeds are
 applied to the Y’s youth sports scholarship fund, in the memory of YMCA friend and former staff
 member, Jim Morin.

Enjoy the latest technology strength training with the YMCA’s state –of –the art Paramount Performance machines.
Spice up your workouts on our popular cardiovascular equipment, which includes Precor treadmills and EFX elliptical
trainers, recumbent bikes, and upright bike, and stair climber.

The Wellness Center is coed and reserved for members ages 14 and over, and their guest. All new members are asked
to schedule a free Wellness Center orientation before using this room. Members 11 to 13 years of age may use the
Wellness Center after receiving an orientation with a parent or guardian, who must also be present during all subse-
quent workouts.

The Iron Court houses the YMCA’s free weight area. A complete line of plate-loaded equipment, Olympic weights,
and dumbbells are available to members and guest 14 years of age and above.

                                              racquetball courts
The YMCA has four courts designed for racquetball, paddle ball, and handball. Three of these courts are also equipped
for walleyball play. Members 14 years of age and above may reserve a court in advanced, or drop in to play as the
seasonal court schedules allows. For those wishing to borrow court sports equipment, there are racquets, paddles, and
balls available upon request at the Member Services Desk.

Full court pick-up basketball games every weekday afternoon from Noon to 1:30 p.m., as well as each Monday,
Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:45 p.m. Guests are welcome, following the day pass policy.

  facilities. School groups, churches, scout troops, and other local non-profit organizations may also wish to

  Birthday parties for Y members are one of our specialties! We provide use of the pool for one hour, a deco-
  rated party room, a birthday cake, ice cream, and punch for 20 party guests. The cost is just $125.00. Three
  weeks advanced reservation is requested.
  Non-Member birthday parties are $75.00 and do not include decorations, cake, ice cream, or punch. These
  items may be furnished by those who rent the facility. To reserve your party date, and for a copy of the rental
