                                       Program Outline and Requirements


The Program consists of 20 credits [forty one-term courses]. A minimum of 10 credits [twenty one-term courses] and a
maximum of 14 credits [twenty-eight one-term courses] are in Economics. Of these, a minimum of 3.5 credits [seven
one-term courses] and a maximum of 7.5 credits [fifteen one-term courses] are Economics electives. Other requirements
are listed below.

Progression to Second Year requires a minimum GPA of 6.00 in EC120, EC140, and a minimum overall GPA of 5.00.
Progression to the Third and Fourth Years and graduation requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 7.00 in Economics
courses and a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 6.00.

    HONOURS BA ECONOMICS IN COMBINATION WITH ANOTHER HONOURS BA PROGRAM

The combined Honours BA Economics program consists of 20 credits (or equivalent) including a minimum of
8.0 credits (16 one-term courses) in economics. The requirements of the related department must be met.

Required Courses:

EC120, EC140, EC270, EC285, EC290, EC295, EC355, EC370, EC381, EC390, EC450 or EC470, EC481 and 2.0
additional senior credits (4 one-term courses) in economics.
MA129 or MA130 or MA103 or MA110*; MA122.
