Each class is one hour in duration. Flexible hours available during pool operation hours, Monday – Sunday (6:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.) late summer, 2009 for fall and winter seasons (year round positions available) Under the general direction of the Aquatic Programmer/Facility Scheduler, designs water exercise classes which may include general water exercise, water aerobics, deep water toning, and water jog.

Job Duties: Designs water exercise classes appropriate for varied groups of pool users Maintains water safety habits for participants and sets exercise goals (target heart rates, etc.) Organizes classes to maximize participation opportunities for pool users. Monitors participants and makes sure class content is appropriate for given program. Promotes good relations with general public and staff. Responds to inquiries regarding class offerings in a pleasant and effective manner. Adheres to and enforces aquatic facility policies, rules and regulations and educates patrons about them.
Minimum Requirements:
Basic Water Rescue, Professional CPR/AED, First Aid, Universal Precautions (training on these qualifications will be made available). Experience conducting water exercise classes/programs is preferred Exhibit excellent interpersonal communications and customer service skills Demonstrate maturity, trustworthiness and dependability
