                      JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary responsibilities of the Cycling Australia (CA) Administration Operations
Officer (AOO) is to assist the Administration Manager with a range of membership,
database, finance and administrative operations.

CA’s administration operations include the maintenance of a national database and
associated E-commerce functions that require acquittal and reporting activity in
addition to a range of member services, accounting processes and other general
administration duties for CA, BMX Australia, cycling high performance and other
associated programs.

CA’s administration operates in a small office environment. From time to time the
AOO may be required to assist other staff with the delivery of administrative duties
and services to members and the public as priorities may demand.

This is a full-time position based in the CA office at Coward Street, Mascot NSW.
Being a national office there may be potential for some inter-state travel.

Duties of the position:
 Assist the administration manager in the facilitation, reporting and acquittal of E-
   commerce activity involving a range of database linked services provided to
   members and constituents
 Assist administration and member services staff with database maintenance
   operations and issue of member licenses, as peak times may demand
 Assist the Administration Manager with financial and accounting operations
 Perform reception duties on a roster basis with other administration staff
 Assist with the provision of services and information to members and general
   public, as may be required
 Support role for administration duties

Reporting lines
  Report directly to the Administration Manager on a day-to-day basis
  Liaise with CA & BMXA staff, State & club officials and service providers as
   required to carry out the duties of the role.

Issues and challenges:
   Maintain accurate and timely reporting and facilitation relating to E-commerce
    services
   Provide appropriate support to maximise delivery of services to the membership
Key performance indicators:
  Timely and accurate delivery of E-commerce operations and reports

Qualifications, skills and knowledge:
  High level of competency in operational IT skills evidenced by qualification or
   experience in;
           - On-line E-commerce operations
           - Microsoft Office suite of programs
           - (SQL) database and web operations
           - MYOB accounting systems an advantage
  Demonstrate a capacity to work efficiently and accurately with attention to detail
  Strong inter-personal skills and capacity to work as part of a team
  A level of work experience that demonstrates an operational capacity in
   administration and fundamental accounting & book-keeping procedures
  An understanding of and a demonstrated capacity to deliver member/client
   service expectations
