                                              with programs across the state

                                          1. We had a brief January thaw, but it's still winter and there are plenty of
                                          opportunities to have fun. You can head east to Geneva in Ashtabula County for
                                          its annual Winterfest. Various events and activities will take place around town
                                          from 9 a.m. to midnight Saturday, including snowman- and igloo-making
                                          contests, a parade, golf tournament, chili cook-off, pancake breakfast, wine
                                          tasting, snowmobile rides, and a dinner and entertainment. Call 440-466-4675

                                          2. If you'd rather head west, Sandusky is having its annual Arctic Ice Festival
