					RATE SCHEDULE FOR COVEY CENTER FOR THE ARTS
                                          Beginning 1 July 2009

Rate A - applies to commercial users.

Rate B - applies to non-profit events, non-ticketed events, school events, scholarship pageants and
charitable fund-raising events.

MAIN HALL RENTAL

   *Plus reimbursables. Reimbursables include the following:

      Deposit – Events running one week or less, $200; two weeks or more, $500. Deposit will be
       applied to the total fee. Deposits are due at contract signing and are non-refundable.

      Staffing – $10 per hour, per technician. Staffing for lighting, sound and stage management are
       required for all rehearsals and performances. A minimum of two technicians are required for all
       music concerts. A minimum of three technicians are required for all other events. Covey Center
       staff may be supplemented by approved outside technicians.

      Stage Set-up – One to three days, up to $60; three or more days, to be determined based on
       perishable item use. Fee includes, but is not limited to, the use of gaff tape, spike tape, lighting
       gel, and microphone batteries.

      Cleaning - $50 per performance day, non-refundable.

      Piano Tuning - $100 if scheduled two weeks in advance; $150 if scheduled the week of the
       performance or event.
      Merchandise Sales - 10% on the sale of any merchandise in the Covey Center.

      Marketing - $100 front window banners; $30 back window banners, $100 for 10 Classical 89
       radio spots.
     Marley Dance Floor Setup - $100, includes gaff tape and labor.
     Orchestra Pit Removal & Replacement - $550, includes labor.
     TULIP Insurance – as quoted by the insurance company.

TICKET OFFICE USE

     Rate A - 10% of gross sales.
     Rate B - 8% of gross sales.
     Service Charge - $2 per order for ticket sales via telephone or Internet
     Ticket Prices – Range from free to $100 + per ticket. Ticket prices to be determined by the
      renting organization.

STUDIO RENTAL

     Rental - $35 per hour, per studio; combined studios, $60 per hour.
     Set-up/Strike - $10 to $200 based on crew requirements for set-up and take down.

     Cleaning - $50; refundable if studio space is left clean.

CLASSES

     Class fees for classes taught by outside instructors, are set by agreement with instructors and
      range between $35 and $110 depending upon the length of class and number of classes offered.

     Classes taught by the Covey Center staff range from $10 to $35 depending upon the type of
      class, duration and number of students.

     Workshops taught in the Covey Center range in price from $25 to $150 based on the topic and
      length of the workshop.

PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION RENTAL

     Public Spaces - $25 per hour for use of the grand staircase or one of the lobbies.
      These spaces must be scheduled and cannot stop the daily flow of activities. All exits and fire
      escapes must remain clear.

     Stage - $125 per hour which includes a technician to help with the lights. Anything over one
      hour will be pro-rated in 15 minute increments. Pre-hung light plots may not be changed.

ART GALLERY

     Exhibit Sales – 25% commission on the sale of art in the gallery.

     Freedom Festival Exhibit Entry - $9 per image/slide; 3 images/slides for $24
