Hotel                          Sofitel London Heathrow – Terminal 5
Location                       London Heathrow Airport
Contracted hours               5 days out of 7 - 40 hours per week
                               Mixed shifts between the hours of 06.00hrs and 23.30hrs
Salary                         £15,500 per annum

What is the hotel like?        Award winning Luxury hotel directly connected to Heathrow
                               Airport’s terminal 5 with 605 bedrooms and suites, 45 meeting
                               rooms, 5 restaurants and bars and a luxury spa

What will I be doing?          The Front of House department is responsible for the welcome
                               and farewell of all guests and visitors to the hotel. They deal
                               with arrivals, departures and the co-ordination of all customer
                               requests during the stay with us. The delivery of outstanding
                               customer service to all guests is paramount to every task they
                               complete. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
                               - Outstanding customer care at all times
                               - Check-in and check-out. Telephone handling
                               - Payment and foreign currency transactions. Cash handling
                               - Ensure all customer queries or requests are handled in a
                                 polite, efficient and courteous manner
                               - Reservation handling when required
                               - Wake up call requests and newspaper orders.
                               - Maintaining all equipment and work areas, including key and
                                 cash security
                               - Processing company loyalty card schemes according to
                                 guidelines
                               - Maintain a high level of hotel and product knowledge at all
                                 times

What is the hotel looking      - Previous high volume hotel front office experience is
for?                             preferable
                               - Previous customer service experience is essential
                               - A capability and commitment to delivering high levels of
                                 customer care
                               - A smart and professional appearance
                               - A positive attitude and excellent communication skills
                               - Experience of working as part of a winning team
                               - Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure
                               - Computer literacy
                               - Cash handling experience
