 5-PB Panelboard and Distribution Board
 Scope
 (See 5-KS, 8-SG-V and 1-IS)
      1. Panelboard and Distribution Board assemblies and their accessories, rated 1000 volts
          AC and 1200 volts DC or less, as follows:
                1.1 Panelboards and Enclosing Cabinets Enclosed single panelboards, panel
                    assemblies or groups of panel units and accessories suitable for assembly in
                    the form of a single panelboard, intended for commercial and industrial
                    construction, including bus structure, equipment enclosures, fronts, and with
                    or without switches and/or overload protective devices (fuses or circuit
                    breakers) and ground fault sensors. Includes door, lock, directory frame and
                    gutter spacing.
                1.2 Distribution Switchboards Enclosed assemblies of devices for switching,
                    measuring, ground fault sensing, transformation, circuit control and/or
                    protection usually assembled on a framework designed for floor mounting.
                         1.2.1 Exclusions
                            Switchboard Sections having draw out low voltage power circuit
                            breakers. (See 8-SG-V)
                1.3 Theater Control Boards Boards for the control of circuits including
                    dimming of lights for theaters, auditoriums, schools, lodges, etc.
                         1.3.1 Exclusions
                            Resistance, reactor, electronic and auto-transformer dimmers. (See 1-
                            IS)
                1.4 Enclosed Panel And Distribution Board Units
                    Assemblies composed of switches and/or fuses, circuit breakers and other
                    electrical components used in the assembly of lighting and distribution
                    boards.
                1.5 Fusible Load Center Equipment
                         1.5.1 Enclosed Devices accepting fusible branches, with or without
                            mains, primarily intended for residential and light commercial
                            construction, including their accessories.
                         1.5.2 Combination meter socket and fusible service entrance device
                            having one or more main disconnects, with or without fusible
                            branches. This category includes multiple or group metering and
                            accessories sold separately.
                                 1.5.2.1 Exclusions: Devices having receptacles or their
                                    provisions and intended for use with supply cords. (See 1.7)
                1.6 Circuit Breaker Load Center Equipment
                         1.6.1 Enclosed devices accepting circuit breaker branches with or
                            without circuit breaker or fusible mains primarily intended for
                            residential and light commercial construction, but excluding the branch
