CLAIMS REGISTER
Fed. R. Bankr. P. 5003(b) provides that "[t]he clerk shall keep in a claims register a list of claims filed in a case when it appears that there will be a distribution to unsecured creditors." Many bankruptcy courts maintain claims registers as part of their automated docketing systems. The clerk is not required to complete the column labeled “Amount of Claims Filed and Allowed.”
