                         ATTORNEYS ACT, 1979: PRESCRIBED DEGREES,
                        DIPLOMAS AND CERTIFICATES FOR ADMISSION
                                     AS ATTORNEYS
             Under subsection (3) of section lA of the Attorneys Act, 1979 (Act 53 of
             1979), I hereby prescribe, on recommendation of the Board for Legal
             Education and pending the further investigations and recommendations of
             such Board, the degrees, diplomas and certificates granted after exami-
             nations by a university or other educational institution situated outside
             Namibia which shall entitle the holder thereof to be admitted as an attorney
             as contemplated in that section, as set out in the Schedule.

               ADMISSION OF ADVOCATES ACT, 1964:
        PRESCRIBED PERIOD OF PUPILLAGE TO COMMENCE
                  PRACTISING AS AN ADVOCATE

    Under section 3A(2) of the Admission of Advocates Act, 1964 (Act 74 of
    1964), I hereby prescribe, on the recommendation of the Board for Legal
    Education, a period of six months as the period of pupillage to be served by
    the holders of the various degrees, diplomas and certificates prescribed
    under section 3 of the said Act.
