Inland Empire Chapter BMW Car Club of America
                            Inland Northwest Region PCA
                      High Performance Driving School Program
                                Spokane Raceway Park
                  Saturday & Sunday, March 29&30, June 14&15, October 4&5, 2008
Additional Day for Instructors and Experienced Drivers Fridays, 3/28, 6/13, 10/3

Join the best driving instructors in the Northwest at Spokane Raceway Park and improve your driving skills.
Our driving schools match each student to an instructor to provide one-on-one on-track guidance to help you
improve your driving ability. No matter how much, or how little experience you have behind the wheel, on the
street or on the track, our driving schools will make you a better driver.
Our schools have been compared to the best professional high performance driving schools in the country,
schools that charge thousands for the same curriculum.

Beginners: If you’ve never been on a racetrack before we have a specific group just for you. You will be on
track ONLY with other beginners. We match you to an instructor and teach you driving position; “the school
line”; accelerating, braking, and steering on “the line”; overall car control; and traffic management. What you
learn will make you a better driver on the street and prepare you for future driving schools

Intermediate and Advanced: Instructors assess student’s abilities and work on specific skills to enhance car
control. We teach you to modify your line based on changing factors. We teach you how your vision controls
where the car goes. We teach you how to “feel” what the car is doing, and to understand how your inputs and
outside factors affect its behavior. You may be “signed off” by your instructor to continue your learning on your
own, without an instructor in the car.

Whether you are a beginner or advanced driver, whether you goal is to learn to drive more safely and
confidently on the street, or develop racing skills, our program is custom tailored to each participant. Your
instructor will assess your skills, set priorities, and work with you in the car.

Registration opens at 7am and we are on track by 9am. (On Saturday in June we open at 6 and are on track from
8am to 4 pm) We provide lunch each day and a catered banquet Saturday evening.

To join us, just complete and submit the attached application with your payment by the deadline. After the
deadline add $35 and contact me to verify space is available. Every participant must be a member of BMW
CCA. Non-members will be required to join ($40). If you are not a member, you can join using your credit card
at www.bmwcca.org. Ask for your membership number so you can put it on the application. The included
technical inspection form is required of all cars at registration. It does not need to accompany your application.

Cost of any 2-day school is $400. Fridays are $185 for experienced, advanced and high-intermediate drivers
only. Entry deadlines to avoid late fees are: March 18, June 1, & September 23.

We don’t require that your car be a Porsche, BMW, etc. We welcome all marques. But, we do reserve the right
to disallow cars that are unsafe or inappropriate for the purpose. Not that there are restrictions on cars with
convertible roofs. If your car is a convertible, please check with me in advance.

For more information go to www.iebmw.org or call Scott Adare at 509-230-0929, sadare@aol.com.

This is not a racing school. It is a driving school, on a racetrack, under close supervision by instructors. While the overriding
consideration during the event is safety, incidents may occur that could cause vehicle damage or personal injury. You will be driving
in a class session with other students and instructors whose vehicles may be uninsured and/or unregistered.
You are totally responsible for the safe operation and safe mechanical condition of your vehicle. BMW CCA, the local Chapter, it’s
officers, instructors, staff and facility providers, Northwest Motorsports, & PCA assume no responsibility in the event of an accident,
of any kind, in the course of this event.
If this is a concern to you, we recommend that you contact your own personal insurance carrier for advice to determine what coverage
would be in effect during this school.
Submission of this application is your acknowledgement of the above agreement to attend under these conditions.

Cancellation and refund policy: We make every effort to fill each school. Cancellations often result in unused track space without a
corresponding reduction in expenses. Refunds will not be given for cancellations, unless the spot can be filled by another participant.
There are no refunds for no-shows.

                                                          TECH INSPECTION
In order to minimize non-driving activities at the track, your car must be inspected prior to the school. The options are as follows:
  1) Take your car to a qualified mechanic for tech inspection and checklist sign-off AND STAMPED.
  2) If you are your own mechanic, CALL ME to discuss. These exceptions will be very limited.
