                Background

continued to be used. Introduction of PDAs.
Use of e-portfolios to support job applications
trialled. Ofsted pronounced our use of e-
portfolios as “outstanding” whilst the external
examiner describes them as “cutting edge”.
Sept 2008 – E-portfolios and PDAs
continued to be used. Trial of using mobile
 technologies to support e-portfolios
 successful.

                Background
Sept 2009 – All of our trainees use PebblePad
in their job applications. Very positive
 feedback from headteachers. School
mentors take more of an active role in using
the PDJ with trainees to encourage reflection
in school experience. Use of PDAs/mobile
 phones with PebblePad continued.
Targets/Review points added to PDJ Webfolio.
Many trainees using Pebblepad with children
 whilst on school experience.

                     Benefits
  • More reflection by the trainees, tools within
PebblePad to aid reflection, transition and
    progression within learning made obvious
  • Less duplication of paperwork and easier to
    transport
  • Easier access to PDJs by staff/mentors
  • Important documents always available and not
    mislaid
  • Easy utilisation in the future – job applications,
    career entry profiles
