         Dionysos holding a kantharos,
wearing a leopard skin and carrying a
grape vine – appropriate for the god and
       the use of the vase.

        skin – he is ithyphallic.

On either side are maenads. To the
right a maenad in the throes of orgasm
        – her head thrown back, the twist on
the thyrsos and the foot breaking out
of the border. Her hair is black and
        curly.

Maenad on the left is blond haired
(dilute slip) and trips along lightly – a
        post orgasmic glow?
