Dr. Ayman Elbaz, (B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Eng.), is an Associate professor of Mechanical Engineering, Helwan
University, Cairo, Egypt, who has performed extensive research work in such field.

He has been a Visiting Assistant Professor (Fulbright Scholar) at College of Engineering, The University of Van-
derbilt, Nashville, USA. Dr. Elbaz is a Member in the Fulbright selection committee for the international Fulbright
Science and Technology Ph.D. Award for the past 2 years in Egypt.
Member of two international projects between Egypt and Sweden Side.
Member in the research center for laser application in combustion and fluid mechanics, 2007-present. This cen-
ter is concerning with investigation of the combustion and aerodynamics problems by using the laser induced
breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), and the Particle image velocimetry technique (PIV), National Institute of Laser
Enhanced Sciences (NILS), Cairo University. Instructor in Many Private Training Center for the past 5 years
Dr. Elbaz is also a Member of AIAA and ASME and he has been involved in submitting consultation and training to
various industrial sectors in both Egypt and several Arab Countries for the past 5 years. Finally, he has more than
15 published articles and invited lectures in high scholarly journals and international conferences in UK, France
