The "s" at the end of the "http" means you are on an encrypted, special webpage and your information is secure.
4.Does the website appear well organized? Is the website easy and clear to navigate? If yes, then it is a site that people have put a lot of time into and care about the customer experience.
5.If you send an email asking a question, does the company respond? A reputable company responds to email. It may not be instant. But a response in 24-48 hours is reasonable. If you send a company an email and they don't respond at all, I would spend my money elsewhere.
