Because Case No. U-14838 is now being litigated before the Commission, the Commission cannot, by law, respond directly to your comments. However, your letter has been placed in the file for this case and will be available to the Commission for review. If you wish to follow the progress of Case No. U-14838, you may do so by going to the Commission’s homepage at: http://www.michigan.gov/mpsc and then clicking Documents Library, followed by Electronic Case Filings, and entering Case No. U-14838. The 21st Century Energy Plan has been assigned to Commission Chairman Lark, rather than to the Commission as a whole. In this capacity, Chairman Lark is currently soliciting input with the goal of completing a final report by December 31, 2006. At this time, I cannot say whether any specific recommendations from that report will subsequently result in contested cases before the Commission. If they do so, you will then have an opportunity to present arguments to the Commissioners in that case.
