Unless noted otherwise, all checks listed in the grade levels below are payable to Antietam Elementary School:
FIRST GRADE:
$15.00 check. (This covers cost for National Geographic Magazine and additional supplies to be purchased by the
teacher). 10 LARGE glue sticks, 2 boxes of 24 regular crayons (not glitter, scented, or fluorescent), 1 box washable
markers, 1 pair children’s Fiskar scissors, 4 LARGE rectangular erasers, 1 box colored pencils (sharpened), 2 folders
with pockets (no brads), 1 package of picture stickers (not REWARD stickers) Example: animals or flowers, 1 clean
frosting container with lid, (These are found with the box cakes in the baking aisle. Please write your child’s name in
permanent marker - BIG ), 1 box tissues, 1 bottle hand soap, 1 paint shirt with child’s name written on the shirt,
1 pencil box (8 x 41/2), 1-1” ring binder.
BOYS: 1 box Ziploc Freezer Bags (Gallon Size) GIRLS: 1 box Ziploc Freezer Bags (Quart Size).
NOTE: Only the following items from the above list need to be labeled with your child’s name: pocket folders,
frosting container, scissors, paint shirt. No Trapper Keepers, Mechanical Pencils, or Backpacks With Wheels.
SECOND GRADE:
**Every student needs a total of $12.00. (The $12.00 includes $4.00 for Weekly Reader, $3.00 for pencils/erasers
purchased by teachers, $5.00 for supplies needed throughout the year, such as clay for an art project, 100 healthy snacks,
etc.) 1 box of tissues (for Music) *** All students new to Antietam: $2.25 for student dictionary.
Mrs. Michelitsch:
2 boxes of 24 crayons, 1 empty, clean frosting container with lid to put crayons in, 1 box of colored pencils (sharpened
please), 2 spiral notebooks, 1 black and white composition notebook, 4 bottles of Elmer’s glue, 1 pair of pointed scissors,
2 folders with pockets, 1 yellow highlighter, 1 pencil box to fit pencils, scissors, and erasers, 1 box of tissues, 1 bottle of
liquid soap, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 box of baby wipes.
Miss Mele:
2 boxes of 24 crayons, 2 bottles of Elmer’s glue, 5 large glue sticks, 1 pair of pointed scissors, 3 folders with pockets, no
brads, 1 yellow highlighter, 2 single subject spiral notebooks, 2 black and white composition books, 1 empty, clean
frosting container with lid to put crayons in, 1 box of tissues, 1 bottle of liquid hand soap, 1 zippered pencil bag to fit
pencils, scissors, and glue, 1 paint shirt (with name on it).
Boys: 1 box of gallon sized Ziploc baggies. Girls: 1 box of sandwich sized bags.
Ms. Richards:

Art), 1 box of tissues (for PE), 1 green – 3 prong, pocket folder with loose leaf paper in it (for Music).

A check payable to Antietam Elementary for $11.00. (This covers the cost for Weekly Reader subscription, a personal
student dictionary, an Assignment Notebook, and a sketch book for Art). 1 pencil, 1 pink square eraser, 1 box of tissues
(for PE), 1 green – 3 prong, pocket folder with loose leaf paper in it (for music).
A check payable to the teacher for $15.00.
Mrs. Lipscomb:
2 packages of wide-ruled loose-leaf paper, 5 black marble composition books, 50 #2 lead yellow pencils, 4 huge pink
erasers, 2 pairs of student scissors, 4 red marking pens, 2 highlighters, 1 package of 12 colored pencils, 3 boxes 24 count
crayons, 4 large glue sticks, 2 pocket folders, 1 pencil box, 1 package dry erase markers (low odor), 2 boxes – 250+ count
tissues, 2 dispensers antibacterial soap, and 1 package colored paper (any color). GIRLS: 1 box gallon ziplock bags
BOYS: 1 box sandwich ziplock bags. PLEASE DO NOT LABEL ANY OF THE ABOVE SUPPLIES.
FOURTH GRADE:
$10.00 Check. (This covers the cost for Weekly Reader subscription, Assignment Notebook, and a sketch book for art).
1 box of 24 crayons, 6 glue sticks, 1 pair of school scissors, 3 packages of wide-ruled loose-leaf notebook paper, 1 1/2"
clear plastic ruler (cm/in.), 1 box of 12 markers, 1 box of colored pencils, 2 black and white composition books, 2 red
ballpoint pens, 2 yellow highlighters, 1 plastic pencil pouch, 5 folders with pockets, 2 boxes of tissues, 1 paint shirt (for
Art), 1 blue – 3 prong, pocket folder with loose leaf paper in it (for Music).
No Trapper Keepers, Mechanical Pencils, and No Wheeled Backpacks.
FIFTH GRADE:
$12.95 check. (This covers the cost for the Assignment Notebook, Story Works Magazine, and a sketch book for art). 2
ultra fine black felt tip pens, 2 blue ink pens, 2 red pens, 2 packages wide ruled loose-leaf notebook paper, 2 highlighters,
2 boxes colored pencils (24 pack), Fiskar scissors, 1 12” (cm/in) ruler, pencils, erasers, 10 glue sticks, ½” white portfolio
binder, 15 clear plastic page protectors, 2 boxes of tissues, 1 yellow – 3 prong, pocket folder with loose leaf paper in it
(for music). Girls: sandwich size Ziploc bags. Boys: gallon size Ziploc bags. Optional: Ream of fun colored copier
paper. No Mechanical Pencils, Trapper Keepers, or Binders other than Portfolio.
Mr. Lough: 6 composition notebooks, 6 pocket folders.
Mrs. McFadden: 7 composition notebooks, 3 pocket folders. Optional: Liquid hand soap
Mrs. Williamson: 6 composition notebooks, 1 vinyl/plastic folder.
Mr. Zeger: 5 composition notebooks, 4 pocket folders (1 red, 1 blue, 1 green, 1 purple).
ART:
All Grades – Paint Shirt. 3rd, 4th, 5th Grades – 1 regular pencil and a pink square eraser.
CLINIC:
Sandwich, quart, or gallon size bags, snack size baggies, liquid hand soap, tissues, sponges, band aids, and sweat pants.
ESOL:
1 box of tissues and 1 2-pocket folder.
PE:
