Worcester County Public Schools
Our school system has served the youth of Worcester County since 1868. We excel (WeXL) because we understand that People Make the Difference. Our entire educational team works every day to place our students on a pathway to success. Because students are provided with the very best teachers, learning environment, materials of instruction, tools of learning, and leadership — they are able to reach for the stars, to make their dreams a reality. Our expectations are high, and the possibilities for our students are endless! This attitude, which is inherent in our school system’s culture, has resulted in success on many levels. Our 14 schools — five elementary, one intermediate, three middle, one special school, three high schools, and one career and technology education high school — are all accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges, an accomplishment that few school systems have achieved. Featured within this booklet are many additional accolades earned during the 20072008 school year.
