							Family Tree Project – 50 points

Purpose:
Construct a family tree that must include at least 3 traits from 3 generations of your
family.

Requirements:
FAMILY TREE POSTER (30 points)
Your presentation must include the following information:
   - Pedigree Chart tracing 3 traits from 3 generations of your family. (15 pts)
   - A hypothesis of the genotypes of all family members based on the three
       characteristics (15 points)
   - Legend explaining your pedigree chart

If you are unable to talk to any family member directly, for any reason, then you can find
pictures or ask your parents.

INDIVIDUAL LAB REPORT (20 pts)
   - Include a brief summary of the data you have collected (10pts)
   - Reflection about what you learned from this project (10 pts)

Timeline & Due Dates:

   •   Due Monday, 2/13, Outline of all family members you will be tracking (5 points)
   •   Due Wednesday, 2/15, First Draft of Family Tree with phenotypes (5 points)
   •   Due Friday, 2/17, Complete Presentations.

Extra Credit:
   • Extra 10 pts for decoration placed on poster (pictures, colored, drawings, etc.)
