Cardholder Agreement Disclosure Statement
Effective February 1, 2011
Annual The annual percentage rate (APR) is the annual interest rate used to calculate the Interest that the Cardholder is required to pay on
Interest Rates the New Balance. The APR is in effect the day the Card is activated and the Account is opened. The APR applied to Purchases and Cash
Advances1 is indicated on the Cardholder’s Statement under Interest Summary. If the Total Minimum Payment Due is not received on or
before the Payment Due Date, the APR will increase by 5% to the default percentage rate (DPR) and will remain in effect until the first
day of the next Statement billing cycle following payment of the current Total Minimum Payment Due.

Bridgewater Bank (the “Bank”) may offer special promotional rates from time to time. If this occurs, Cardholders will be provided with
details in their monthly Statements.
Interest-Free Interest will not be charged on new Purchases for 21 days from the Statement Date provided the New Balance is paid in full
Grace Period on or before the Payment Due Date. There is no interest-free grace period on Cash Advances1. Special time-limited promotions with
discounted or interest-free grace periods for Cash Advances1 may be offered from time to time.
Determination If Interest applies to the Account, it is charged from the Transaction Date until the Bank receives payment in full of the amount of the
of Interest transaction. If Interest is charged, it is calculated daily on any amount owing to the Bank and is charged monthly to the Account on the
last day of the Statement billing cycle. The daily interest rate calculation is the APR or DPR ÷ 365 days in a year (366 in a leap year).
Minimum The Total Minimum Payment Due is 3% of the New Balance or $10, whichever amount is greater, plus any Amount Past Due and/or
Payment any amount over the Credit Limit. New Balances under $10 must be paid in full. The Total Minimum Payment Due must be paid on or
before the Payment Due Date.
Foreign All foreign currency transactions are converted to Canadian dollars at the foreign exchange rate set by MasterCard Worldwide
Currency applicable on the date of the conversion. Depending on the country of origin, foreign currencies will either be converted directly into
Conversion Canadian dollars, or will be converted first into U.S. dollars and then into Canadian dollars, before being posted to the Account. The
foreign exchange rate is calculated for each individual transaction based upon the date and time the transaction is made. The foreign
exchange rate for a purchase and the foreign exchange rate for a refund may not be the same. The amount credited for the refund
could be less or more than the original purchase amount dependent on the foreign exchange rate posted when the refund was applied.
A cross border fee of 2.5% will be charged for each foreign exchange transaction, in addition to the foreign exchange rate as

The annual fee for the Primary Cardholder is applied once the Card is used. The charge appears on the Cardholder’s first or second
Statement, depending on the date of the first transaction within the Statement billing cycle. Annual fees are applied again on the
anniversary date of the Card’s activation.

For Authorized Users added at the time of application, the annual fee will appear on the Statement immediately following the month
in which the primary Card is first used and will be applied again on the anniversary date of the first transaction on the Authorized
User’s Card. For Authorized Users added after the Account has been opened, the annual fee will appear on the Statement immediately
following the month the Card is first used by the Authorized User and will be applied again on the anniversary date of the first
transaction on the Authorized User’s Card.

Important information: Please review this Cardholder Agreement Disclosure Statement for details regarding the cost of borrowing for the Bridgewater Bank
MasterCard Credit Card (the Card) and the credit account relating to the Card (the Account). Rates and fees may be changed at any time. Written notice of any
changes will be provided to Cardholders at least 30 days in advance. All Card-related documents and amendments are available on the Bridgewater Bank website at
bridgewaterbank.ca. Cardholders may also call 1-888-612-4375 during regular business hours for further information. All capitalized terms used, but not defined, in
this Cardholder Agreement Disclosure Statement have the same meanings as given in the Cardholder Agreement Terms & Conditions provided to the Cardholder with
Statements: Cardholders will receive an itemized Statement monthly provided there are transactions on the Card and the Account and/or there is a New Balance.
Statements will not be issued monthly if there have not been any transactions, if there is no New Balance outstanding on the Card and the Account, or if the
Cardholder has been advised that the Card and Account has been suspended or terminated. Transactions include, but are not limited to, Purchases, Cash Advances,
Convenience/Balance Transfer Cheques, Payments & Credits, interest rates, annual fees and other fees. If Statements are not provided monthly a Cardholder
Agreement Disclosure Statement will be provided to the Cardholder at least once in a three month period.
Interest and grace period: Where applicable, Interest is charged on the value of Purchases. The Bank applies Interest to fees and accrued Interest in the same
manner as it does to Purchases. Interest is charged on the Previous Balance. As Interest accrues, it becomes part of the New Balance. Any Interest accrued after
the Statement Date will be applied on the next Statement. If the New Balance is not paid in full on or before the Payment Due Date, Interest will be charged on
Purchases from the Transaction Date to the Statement Date, including any Interest that has accrued. No Interest will be charged on Purchases when the New
Balance is paid in full between the Statement Date and the Payment Due Date, This interest-free grace period is a standard 21 days. There is no interest-free grace
period on Cash Advances. However, special time-limited promotions with discounted or interest-free grace periods for Cash Advances may be offered from time to
time. Interest is charged on Cash Advances from the Transaction Date to the date the New Balance is paid in full, including any Interest that has accrued. The Bank
treats Convenience/Balance Transfer Cheques and other cash-like transactions offered during special promotions in the same manner as Cash Advances. Cash-like
transactions include money orders, wire transfers, travellers’ cheques and gaming transactions (including betting, off-track betting, race track wagers, casino gaming
chips and lottery tickets).
Payment in full: If the New Balance is less than $10, the Cardholder is required to pay the entire New Balance in full before the Payment Due Date. If the Card has
expired without renewal or has been suspended or terminated, the Cardholder must pay the entire New Balance in full on or before the Payment Due Date.
Maximum liability: The Cardholder is required to notify the Bank immediately by telephone at 1-888-612-4375 if it is known or suspected that a Card, PIN
or Convenience/Balance Transfer Cheque has been lost, stolen or used by an unauthorized person or that the Account has been compromised in any way. If the
Cardholder is outside of North America, they may call the Bank collect at (403)817-7000. If a Cardholder notifies the Bank, the Primary Cardholder is not liable for
any unauthorized use of the Card. However, if the Account is used with a personal identification code such as the Cardholder’s PIN or any other security code, the
Primary Cardholder will be liable for the full amount of all unauthorized transactions which occur before notification.
Default charges where legal action is required: If the Bank undertakes legal action against a Primary Cardholder to collect payment of the Account, the
Cardholder will be responsible for paying the Bank’s legal costs (including any legal costs of the Bank’s own internal counsel) on a solicitor and its own client basis.
Optional services: If optional features are added to the Card, the Bank will send the Cardholder a separate agreement outlining any additional terms and
Concerns and Complaints: Cardholders may raise any questions or concerns about the disclosure or manner of calculating the cost of borrowing or any other
