               Wedding Reception Information
Wedding Reception Locations & Guest Minimums
Paige Hall with the Historic Barn and the Garden Tent with the Red Barn Patio are both reserved for five hour
intervals, including the one hour cocktail reception prior to dinner. Additional time may be added at $250.00 per half
hour. Both locations have a (75) guest minimum. Please contact our sales office for information on weddings with
less than seventy five guests. Restrictions may apply to Holiday Weekends.
   Paige Hall with the Historic Barn
   Accommodates up to (250) guests with a dance floor. Saturday and holiday receptions have a $500.00 facility
   fee. Saturday receptions are reserved during the day until 4:30 PM and in the evening starting at 6:00 PM.
   Garden Tent with the Red Barn Patio
   Accommodates up to (200) guests with a dance floor. Tent rental fees are included in the Garden Romance Tent
   Wedding package price which has a (100) guest minimum. All other wedding packages have a tent rental fee,
   which is based on your guest count. Your reception time is flexible, since we reserve one tent wedding per day.
Outdoor Ceremonies
There are two Gazebos on property and other outdoor sites available. The Gazebo fee is $500.00 which includes
white wedding chairs. This fee is included in the Garden Romance Tent Wedding package. If the weather is
inclement, your ceremony space will be reserved either indoors or under our tent, based on availability.
The Garden Gazebo is located on our beautiful garden tent grounds.
The Hillside Gazebo overlooks our stone walls and flower trimmed brick walkway.
Indoor Ceremonies
Our Historic Barn, located in the Inn, a charming location for a romantic ceremony, accommodating up to (100)
guests with a center aisle and two different options for your ceremonial view.
Paige Hall can be set theatre style accommodating up to (175) guests and then re-set for your dinner reception.
Both locations have a $300.00 facility fee.
Overnight Accommodations – We offer seventeen historic rooms in the Publick House Historic Inn, six suites in
the Chamberlain House and ninety two rooms at the Country Lodge. Reservations by room block are recommended
upon signing your wedding contract to ensure availability.
Tax and Service Charges – All food and beverage costs are subject to a 7% Massachusetts meal tax, a 15% service
charge and a 3% taxable administrative fee.
Deposits, Pre-payment and Additional Payments
An initial, non-refundable $1,500.00 deposit for Paige Hall or $2,000.00 for the Garden Tent is required two weeks
from the date of reserving your wedding date. An additional deposit, equal to 50% of your estimated balance, is due
six months prior to your wedding. Your guaranteed count of attendance is due ten business days prior to your
wedding with an additional deposit due seven business days prior to your wedding. Additional deposits are payable
by credit card, certified bank check or cash. Any charges billed on consumption or estimated will be due on
Cancellation Policy – All deposits are non-refundable. All cancellation notices must be in writing and are effective
on the date of receipt by the Publick House Historic Inn. Cancellations received six months or less than the date of
the wedding will be charged the minimum guaranteed amount on all food and beverage contracted, in addition to any
facility fees and lost revenues to the Publick House Historic Inn.
