Movistar to Vodafone migration - Instructions

TUI España is going to migrate from its current mobile phone operator
Telefónica - Movistar to Vodafone. For this reason all the mobile phones
and SIM cards will be changed.

‘Servicios Generales’ staff at TUI España offices will provide you with the
new phones, accessories and SIM cards. A SIM card copier will be also
available to transfer your contacts from your old Movistar phone to the
new Vodafone phone.

The migration dates are:

Canary Islands: July 14th between 03:00 AM and 06:00 AM
Spanish mainland: July 15th between 03:00 AM and 06:00 AM
Balearic Islands: July 16th between 03:00 AM and 06:00 AM

It is very important that the new Vodafone phones and Blackberries remain switched OFF
during the night of the migration.

After the migration the long cell phone number will remain the same (6xx xxx xxx). The short
number will be:

Palma and Barcelona Offices: 1 + last 4 digits of your landline extension number (1xxxx)
All other cases: 1 + current short mobile number (1xxxx)

Mobile Phone (Nokia 3120 Classic)

Prior to the migration date you must move contact data stored in your current
mobile phone to your new Vodafone handset. Ask Servicios Generales staff for
a SIM copier. The SIM card memory is limited, so it is recommended you
transfer a maximum of 250 contacts. To copy SIM contacts consult the manual
of your current Movistar phone.

During the migration you will receive 2 SMS on your mobile phone from the
number 71692. Additionally, you will receive a call from Vodafone over the 48
hours prior to date of portability to remind you that this change will occur.

The new SIM card has a different PIN number, this is printed on the card that you will receive.
Remember to enter the new SIM card in the Vodafone mobile.

Remember to switch off the Vodafone mobile phone on the night of the migration, however
you can charge the phone battery as soon as you receive it.

Please return the old Movistar phone to Servicios Generales staff.
