Upgrading the Cisco VPN Client PRIOR TO UPGRADING YOUR EXISTING VPN CLIENT, PLEASE CONNECT TO THE INFOR NETWORK (I.E. ESTABLISH A VPN CONNECTION IF WORKING REMOTELY) AND DOWNLOAD/SAVE THE NEW CISCO CLIENT VERSION 5.0.03 INSTALL FILE. THE INSTALL CAN BE OBTAINED BY DOUBLE-CLICKING HERE.(ACTIVATED LATER) IF YOU ARE ACTIVELY USING A VPN CONNECTION YOU WILL BE INSTRUCTED AT A LATER POINT TO DISCONNECT AND CLOSE YOUR VPN CONNECTION. If you are currently using the Cisco VPN Client, you must uninstall the version you are using (even if it is the same or a higher version than this install!). NOTE: If you use your current Cisco VPN client to access customer networks and use their custom connection profiles then please backup those profiles before proceeding with the uninstall. Double-click HERE to start the copy process. Click Open, and Run when prompted. Once complete please proceed to Step 1. If you do not have custom connection profiles please proceed to Step 1. NOW YOU HAVE BACKED UP YOUR CISCO CONNECTIONS AND HAVE DOWNLOADED/SAVED THE NEW INSTALLATION FILE. IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY CONNECTED TO INFOR VIA A VPN CONNECTION YOU MUST DISCONNECT PRIOR TO CONTINUING WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS OTHERWISE YOU COULD COMPROMISE THE STABILITY OF YOUR MACHINE. Uninstalling the current Cisco client Step: 1 Click the Windows Start button and select All Programs, Control Panel, Add/Remove programs. The following screen will display: Select the Step: 2 Locate the VPN Client item and click Change/Remove. The following screen will display: Step: 3 After a few minutes, the following screen will display: Step: 4 Click Finish to reboot your machine. Cisco full client install: Step: 1 Close all running applications and browser windows. Step: 2 Double click on InforCiscoVPN.exe that was saved to your desktop during the download phase. The following screen will display: Step: 3 Click OK to continue or Cancel to abort the installation. The following screens will display: Step: 4 When complete click Yes to restart your computer. Using the Full Cisco Client Step: 1 Click the shortcut that was placed onto your Desktop. The following screen will display: Note: You may or may not have all the access sites listed below. Step: 2 Note: You will notice that there are four standard access sites. Generally, you will connect to a region that coincides with your current location: Americas regions: Select Infor-RemoteAccess-Americas Europe regions: Select Infor-RemoteAccess-EMEA Asia regions: Select Infor-RemoteAccess-APAC Select Infor-RemoteAccess-China Step: 3 Highlight your region and Click the Connect option (you can also double click the access site). The following screen will display: Step: 4 Enter your Domain\Username and Password using the format pictured above: i.e. infor\jdoe Step: 5 Click OK. After a successful connection you will see the Cisco pad-lock in your System Tray. To disconnect from VPN, right click the Lock icon and select Disconnect, (you can also double-click on the lock and select Disconnect)
