					             How to Configure and Install SSL (Secure Socket Layer) VPN

  This document will assist property managers with accessing Virtual Private Network (VPN) client. Giving access rights when away from the
  office- such as at home. The VPN certificate needs to be installed before a connection to PROMAS is made, without it, you will be able to
  connect. The “VPN client” will NOT be required when working in the Branch office.

To access VPN client, open your Internet browser
and point to https://vpn.nrtsoutheast.com

Click Yes to accept security alert.




If you receive the following screen, click on

Continue to the website (not recommended)



At the Login Screen, enter the same information
you would use to access the O.W.A. and any
company computers.

Username
      sar\first.lastname

Password
This is the same password you would use to log
onto company computers / O.W.A.

Then click on Login

On the Southeast Regional VPN Services screen,
select Continue

If you receive the following

Information Bar, please click on OK




On the next screen,

Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client you will see
a dialogue box, asking you to install an
ActiveX control, {as displayed}.

Right Click on it, and select:

Install ActiveX Control…




Click on Install



Once you have installed the ActiveX
control, you might get prompted to install
a JAVA script, {as displayed}. If you
receive this message, and make sure you
place a checkmark, as follows:

Always trust content from this publisher



Then select Run.

Now, you will have the Download screen
display.

Click on Download, to complete the
installation.




The following screens, should display, while
the final installation is completing.

In order to access PROMAS, you will
connect to the VPN client- below are the
steps:

Go to:

Start



 All Programs



    Cisco



        Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client



          Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client




Click on the Cisco Any Connect Client
program, click on the Connection Tab,
and enter the information as required:

Connect to:
Vpn.nrtsoutheast.com

Username:
first.lastname

Password:
Your O.W.A. password/ SAR password

Then click on Connect.

Once you have entered the required
information, you will receive the following
screen

Click on Accept, to connect.




You will now have the following icon
appear on the lower right side, of your
screen, next to your clock.

You should now be connected.




     *You may not be able to complete this installation if you do not have ADMINISTRATOR RIGHTS*
                      Below is a screen shot that indicateds you need these type of rights.
                                   (If prompted for Administrator rights at all, click on OK)
