Wish Night: The Greatest Wish on Earth
Many people have already expressed interest in volunteering for Wish Night, but we are still
recruiting volunteers to lend a helping hand. You do not have to be an official Make-A-Wish
volunteer to work a shift at Wish Night, so this is a great way to introduce your friends to the
Foundation. We will be hosting two Wish Night volunteer orientations in April to train those who
have signed up to work the event. If you are interested in volunteering for the evening of Wish
Night, you must attend one of the following orientations.
Saturday, April 24 at 10 a.m.

express their own unique creativity while they paint
their masterpiece. Invite your family, co-workers
and friends to join you and share a glass of wine, or
other beverage of your choice, while an instructor
takes you step by step through creating your own
painting. G'nosh is about the experience. What you create is your interpretation of that experience and
at the end of the night, you'll have your own masterpiece to show off to family and friends.
The G’nosh event last month was such a hit, G’nosh has decided to host another Make-A-Wish
benefit night. It is $40 to attend and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of
North Texas. All you have to do is register for the March 19th date online at https://www.gnosh.com/

I wish to go… to Australia!!!
When 16-year-old Tanner found out he’d be receiving a wish,
he immediately wrote a two page letter telling his wish
granters what he REALLY wanted to do! Tanner explained
that he has always had a passion for the beach and all things
that have to do with the ocean, and he absolutely couldn’t wait
to take an Australian adventure with his family. After listing
several elements of the trip that he was excited about, he
made sure to point out that his number one wish was to scuba
dive at the Great Barrier Reef!
Plans were made, flights were booked and before he knew it,
Tanner and his family were on their way to the land ―Down
Under!‖ After settling into their amazing beachfront hotel,
Tanner got to ride a horse along the beach….truly an
incredible experience. Tanner and his family made sure to find
time to eat Australian specialties and learn the local lingo while
exploring together. Then it was time for the big event…snorkeling in the legendary Great Barrier Reef.
The views were breathtaking and unlike anything Tanner had ever seen before! It was incredible to
witness every kind of sea life in the one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Throughout the trip, Tanner was able to see and do things that were
beyond his wildest dreams…it was truly the trip of a lifetime! Tanner was
so grateful to experience the power of a wish® and the impact it has
made in his life will stay with him forever.

We would like to thank the Mitchamore family for choosing the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North
Texas for the second year in a row to benefit from the annual Greg Mitchamore Memorial Golf Tourna-
ment. This year $15,000 was raised to benefit the Southwest Region and to grant Tanner’s wish to go
to Australia! Thank you so much for making Tanner’s wish come true!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!

brand new wish granters. Already, this spirited group of volunteers has signed on and started granting
