ALL people are welcome to join a hospitable community, united in the love of God and to share his
beautiful creation with others through Faith, Hope and Growth.

We want to thank you for choosing Camp Wilmot as your venue and our hope is that you will have a
safe and memorable experience. In order to make this happen, we have attached a list of policies and
procedures that will help to make your stay more pleasant for everyone. It also tells you more
information about what you can expect during your time here. Once we have received your deposit and
signed contract then your booking will be confirmed.

    1) A representative from Camp Wilmot will greet you on arrival and direct you to where your
group will be staying during your time here.

    2) Upon your arrival please make note of anything out of order and notify us as soon as possible.
If you find some that needs attention please let us know.

    3) Our Insurance requires us to keep a list of all participants with their addresses and phone
numbers. Please hand this into the office when you arrive.

    4) Minors, without parents attending the event, should have signed permission slips that allow for
medical treatment in the case of an emergency. We advise that each minor without a parent
have a complete medical form listing allergies, health conditions and restrictions. This form
should also list emergency contact information and phone numbers.

    5) Children should be monitored at all times especially in the lake area or the woods.

    6) First Aid is the responsibility of the user group. We advise that each user group provide at least
one adult, who will be available at all times and has current certification in CPR and First aid
from a nationally recognized provider. First aid supplies are also the responsibility of the user
       group.

    7) What to bring : sleeping bag or sheets and a blanket, pillow, towels, soap, rain gear, clothing
etc. Shoes must be worn at all times.

    8) The following are not permitted:

            a) Clothing with offensive, sexually suggestive or vulgar language, images or symbols or
behavior which puts a person or group of people at risk for injury or intentional insult is
               prohibited

            b) Illegal drugs or controlled substances
        c) Alcohol of any kind

        d) Firearms or fireworks

        e) Go carts, dirt bikes or any other motorized off road vehicle

                                       Once you are here

1) Smoking is not permitted in any building or anywhere on the campsite. People may smoke at
the end of the driveway off site. Make sure smoking materials are completely out and disposed
   of properly.

2) Automobiles are to be driven only on the roads and at 5mph or less. Please park vehicles in the
designated parking area. Nobody should be transported in truck beds anywhere around the
   camp site.

3) Bicycles are welcome. We would ask that you operate them safely around the area.

4) Dining Hall – everything your group should need is provided in the kitchen and dining hall.
Please feel free to use the food in the dining hall, walk in or upstairs freezer. The group is
responsible for setting tables and clearing up after mealtimes. If you have hired a cook from
Camp Wilmot then the dishes will be the responsibility of the cook.

5) Snacks – Please do not take any food into the cabins as this attracts rodents and bears. We
asked that all food is stored in the kitchen/farmhouse area.

6) Phones - There is a phone in the office that is to be used for emergency use only. Many cell
phone networks don’t work at the camp (Verizon and US cellular do). The best place for cell
phone reception tends to be next to the White Birch cabin.

7) Emergency Procedure – in an emergency please dial 911. The camp is located at 5 Whites Pond
Road, Wilmot, 03287 and meets the junction of North Wilmot Road. Please emphasise to the
emergency services that you are at Camp Wilmot. Please notify the camp staff if you have made
   a 911 call.

8) Camp Store – There is a camp store onsite stocked with sweatshirts, t-shirts, bumper stickers,
postcards, water bottles, toothbrushes and a variety of candy and sodas. Please let us know if
you would like the store to be open during your visit.

                              Waterfront (during summer season)

1) All waterfront activities require supervision. We recommend that you have a currently trained
lifeguard to supervise your group at the waterfront. Groups are swimming at their own risk and
   must take appropriate precautions.
   2) Canoes, Kayaks and rowboats are available for use. Please make sure that you leave them as
you found them, pulled out of the water, turned over and lifejackets hanging up.

   3) Lifejackets must be worn by ALL people using watercraft.

   4) Swimming is only permitted within the marked off area. If you would like to swim across the
lake you must have permission of the lifeguard and have someone kayaking alongside you.

                                                  Campfires

    1) Fire is a constant danger and open fires are only permitted in certain areas. We currently have 3
campfire circles. One is on Vesper hill, the polar bear fire pit across the lake and the outpost
firepit, which is a short walk from the lake. Campfires are not permitted without the proper
authorization and must be completely distinguished before leaving it. If it is cold enough to put
your hand in, then it is safe to leave!

                                               General

   1) Conserve Energy – please turn off lights when they are not in use. Close the doors and windows
when leaving your room and turn off the heaters.

   2) Keep buildings and grounds clean – please help to keep Camp Wilmot a clean and safe place for
others to enjoy. Please don’t drop litter and leave rooms as you found them when you leave.

   3) Nature, Wildlife and facilities are not to be abused. Protect the environment. Do not throw
rocks or sticks. Do not cut down trees. Do not take wildlife home or harm the local wildlife.
Please communicate to your entire group that nature should be observed and not disturbed.

   4) Challenge/Ropes Course – please contact the camp before your visit if you would like to use the
challenge course. Appropriate supervision can be provided for your group. Please make sure
that your group do not use the elements without supervision.

   5) Walking around the site – Camp Wilmot has many walking trails that connect throughout the
grounds. Please make sure you walk in a group. All trails are marked with spray paint markers.
If you do get lost, keep walking until you find a road and then keep walking in the same direction
until you find the camp entrance. The camp is surrounded by roads on all 4 sides.

                                            Prior to Departure

   1) Please make sure that the site is left as you found it. Cabins and sleeping areas should be swept
and trash picked up. The dining hall should be swept and the benches left on top of the tables
      to allow for mopping.

   2) There is a minimum cleaning fee of $50 per hour for any excessive cleaning that needs to be
done after a group. There will also be a charge for any damage to the property.

Finally, thanks for choosing Camp Wilmot and we hope that you will come back and stay with us again in
the future.
