                        Arbor Creek Townhomes - 120 Mark Twain Circle, Athens, GA 30605
HOUSING SITE            Apartment # I - 3 (typically for male students)
                        Apartment # I - 10 (typically for female students)
                        Typically same gender housing, unless you are otherwise notified by the AHEC office.
                        Please refer to your housing confirmation email for the list of students also confirmed at this
ACCOMMODATIONS          AHEC housing site during your stay.
                        2 bedrooms (with 2 twin beds in each room)
                        2.5 bathrooms

                                 ARRIVAL INFORMATION

KEY PICK UP LOCATION    Key lock box ( on back door)


                           Fold the lockbox cover down to access combination numbers.
                           Push the numbers of the code provided to you in your housing confirmation email.
                           Slide the silver latch down to open the box & remove the key.

                           YOU MAY USE THE LOCK BOX KEY TO GET IN THE APARTMENT WHEN YOU
LOCK BOX INSTRUCTIONS       ARRIVE, PLEASE PLACE THE KEY BACK IN THE BOX FOR FUTURE STUDENTS.
                            YOUR PERSONAL KEY CAN BE FOUND INSIDE THE APARTMENT ON THE KEY
                            RACK.
                        To close the box: reenter the code, slide the sliver latch down, close the panel & make sure
                        it locks. Fold the lockbox cover back up & secure.

                          PLEASE USE A KEY ON THE KEY RACK AS YOUR PERSONAL KEY
                           DURING YOUR STAY. THE KEY MUST BE RETURNED TO THE RACK
                           WHEN YOU DEPART.
PERSONAL KEY              PLEASE LOCK THE DEAD BOLT ON THE FRONT DOOR AND EXIT OUT
                           THE BACK DOOR ON YOUR DEPARTURE DAY. LOCK THE BACK
                           DOOR USING THE LOCK BOX KEY. BE SURE TO RETURN THE LOCK
                           BOX KEY. THANKS!


                      Proceed on GA 316 East for approximately 40 miles. Make sure not to exit at the first
                       exit for Athens/Monroe at Highway 78, but continue until you see signs for the Athens
                       Perimeter (Loop 10).
                      Bear right onto the Athens Perimeter (GA Loop 10) traveling east. (For reference
                       purposes, there is a sign for the University of Georgia/Athens By-Pass at the junction of
                       the GA 316 and the Athens Perimeter).
DIRECTIONS
FROM ATLANTA:         After approximately five miles on the Perimeter, exit onto College Station Road
                       (exit #7).
                      Take a right on College Station Road. College Station will dead-end at the Kroger
                       shopping Center. At the last light before the dead end, turn left onto International Drive
                       (if you proceed to the dead end, turn around and turn right at the first traffic light on
                       College Station, onto International Drive). The apartment complex & leasing office is
                       located near the end of International Drive, on the left.

                      Take I-20 West to Thomson
                      At Thomson, take US 78 North to Athens
DIRECTIONS            As you come into Athens, past the Walmart, take a left on Gaines School Road.
FROM AUGUSTA:
                      Past the Kroger Shopping Center you will turn right on College Station Road.
                      Take a right at the first traffic light. The apartment complex & leasing office is located
                       near the end of International Drive, on the left.

                           AHEC HOUSING POLICIES
                   By accepting AHEC housing support, you are agreeing to abide by the Student
                   Housing Agreement & Policy. This document was emailed to you previously.
                   Additionally, you will find a copy in your key packet and it is posted in each
HOUSING POLICY
                   apartment for your reference.
                   Please contact our office if you have any questions regarding our housing policy.

                   Foothills AHEC carries insurance to cover the contents/furnishings of the
                   apartments. Our insurance does NOT cover your personal property while it is on the
INSURANCE POLICY
                   premises. Please check with your personal insurance company regarding coverage
                   of your personal property.
                       You may use the emergency key in the lockbox on the back door.
                       If it is during business hours M-F, 9:00-5:00, you may use the spare key located at
                       the Joiner Management Leasing Office: 155 International Drive (located on site at
                       Arbor Creek Townhomes), which must be returned within 24 hours. If the key is not
KEY LOCK OUT POLICY    returned on time, Joiner Management will contact Foothills AHEC and you will be
                       charged a $40 replacement fee.

                       It is your responsibility to notify Joiner Management regarding maintenance issues.

                           Wireless internet access - The pass code to access the internet is posted on a
                            bulletin board in the apartment. Please do not remove the sign or change the
                            password. Thank you!

SERVICES PROVIDED          Monthly cleaning service by Professional Clean Janitorial: You are
                            responsible for cleaning up after yourself. The cleaning staff will not move
                            your personal belongings. Please be courteous to your roommates and keep
                            your belongings picked up. Dressers & closets are provided for your use.

                           DEPARTURE INFORMATION
                          Clean out ALL of your items from the refrigerator & pantry.
                          Remove ALL trash from the apartment & place it in the dumpster at the end
                             of the parking lot.
                          A vacuum, broom, dustpan, mop, and other cleaning supplies are provided
                             for you to use. If you use the last of the supplies, please notify the AHEC
                             office.
                          Do not move furniture from room to room.
                          If you use the provided kitchen towels, please wash, fold, and place them
                             back in the drawer for the next occupant.
                          If you are the last person to leave the apartment, please set the thermostat
CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS       to a reasonable temperature and turn off all lights.
                          Lock all windows and exterior doors.     This is for the safety of both you and
                             your roommates!

                          Make sure the emergency key is in the lockbox.
                          Leave your key on the key rack inside the apartment on the day of your
                             departure.
                          NEVER give your key to another student without written permission from the
                             Foothills AHEC office.
