                       Vision Statement
              for “Strategic” Standardization …
Industry proactively supports a voluntary consensus
process that results in internationally recognized
performance based standards so that products that
conform may be marketed and sold in worldwide
         markets without (w/ minimal) modification.

                Standardization is CORE for
                Agricultural Machinery Design
IT IS NOT an after thought!

Required Needs for Successful Implementation of ISOBUS

Æ Contrary to believes – The standard is complete to the
level that it can be implemented

Æ Farmers are asking for a single connection between
tractors and connected implements – But do not know
that ISO 11783 standard provides this capability

Æ Independent implement suppliers that require monitoring
and control capabilities are not aware of ISO 11783 and
it’s capabilities – With compliant tractors, they do not
need to provide a display and switches for their
                implements
