Scenes from the Golf Outing...
The Chamber organization is grateful for all the support,
contributions, and participation in the 4th Annual Melvin B.
Bassi Memorial Golf Tournament held this year at
Cedarbrook Golf Course on June 2. The weather was
nothing short of spectacular, and the tournament is always a
relaxing day of fun and friendly competition.

The first place team from Charleroi Sweeper received engraved
crystal trophies bearing the Bassi Tournament logo and are
shown in the picture to the right. Second Place team was the
Vitale Insurance foursome, Vic Vitale, Jeff Vitale, Derek
Zdravecky, and John Vaccaro with a score of 62. A tie breaker
was necessary for the 2nd place prize, with the Mon Valley
Hospital team also turning in a 62, losing the tie breaker to a
hole handicap order ruling. Skill Prize Winners were: Closest
to the Pin – George Milkent and Vic Vitale, Longest Drive
Ladies – Crystal Zahand, Longest Drive Men – David Bassi,
Longest Putt – Ed Protin and Rose Rotheram. Five golfers
sunk putts at the putting contest, Paul McCune won the
drawing for a $100 Cedarbrook Gift Card.
