ASSIGNMENT NOTEBOOK

							ASSIGNMENT NOTEBOOK:

Your will also have an assignment notebook. Each day they will record what they learned about or did in
each subject area. This is also a great place to check for homework. The notebook will have assignments
from that day. If there is an assignment your child will write an “H” in the right hand column of the
notebook in that specific subject area. There will be a check mark in the right hand column if there isn’t
any homework in this subject area. Please look over and discuss the information in the notebook with
your child each evening. After looking it over, signed the bottom of the page. If your child has their
assignment notebook signed the next day, they will earn a nickel stamp. Your child will be able to use
these nickel stamps for special items in our class store. The notebook is also a great way for you and me
to communicate. There is a small area at the bottom of the notebook where you can write notes. If it
isn’t big enough, you can write a note and staple it to the page of the assignment notebook. I will be
checking these notebooks with your child each morning.
