Call for groups
                         It is now over two months since we opened The Peacock and
                         the Tortoise. Those of you popping in on a regular basis may
                         already have seen changes we have made to the shop. We
                         have more fabrics, more buttons and ribbons, a larger selection
                         of haberdashery and all you need to make wedding favours.
                         We are learning what is popular and what our customers want.
                         We have extended our services by being a pick-up point for
                         Pemberton, the sewing machine repair specialists. Also,
                         Beechwood long-arm quilting services are happy to provide you
                         with a consultation on the premises.

                         The next big step is the launch of our classes. We have been
                         overwhelmed with interest in classes. After approaching
                         several tutors we are proud to present you our schedule of
                         classes. A few taster sessions will take place in June, children’s
                         classes will take place in the summer holidays and the adult
                         classes will start in August. Again, if there is anything in
                         particular you would like, let us know. Please read the booking
