To update the scientific and medical knowledge of the participants in the field of neuroradiology applications and techniques.
The Annual Meeting Scientific Program accomplishes CME objectives through invited special lectures, CAQ case presentations, and
submitted clinical and scientific research abstract presentations.

                                                       Target Audience
The ENRS Annual Meeting is primarily directed towards academic and private practice neuroradiologists in Northeastern
Canada and the United States. Attendees include members of the Eastern Neuroradiological Society and invited speakers. The ENRS
program is designated for physicians with an interest and background in the nervous system, otolaryngology, and spine disorders, as
well as experience with medical imaging methods (CT, MRI, X-Ray and Angiography).

For this course, we have requested Continuing Medical Education study credits from McGill University, Division of Continuing
Medical Education (CME) which sponsors continuing medical education for physicians and is fully accredited by the Committee on
Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools (CACMS), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Accreditation
Council for Continuing Medical Education in the United States (ACCME).

                                             Letter from the Program Chair
Mark your calendar now for the 21st Annual Meeting of the Eastern Neuroradiological Society (ENRS), August 20 -22, 2009.
This will be a wonderful chance to learn and socialize at a fabulous place, The Hotel Hershey in Hershey, PA.

The 2009 program will feature talks on a broad spectrum of advanced neuroimaging and neurointerventional techniques.
Emphasis will be placed on the integration of these evolving techniques into modern practice. Topics include PET imaging, functional
MRI and diffusion tensor imaging, CT perfusion, pediatric neuroimaging, and head and neck imaging. Featured topics from
interventional neuroradiologists will be presented on the diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, including stroke,
aneurysms, and arteriovenous malformations. New to the program this year are panel discussions following the presentations to
provide an opportunity for members to discuss hot topics and ideas relevant to our current practice. Come and join us on Saturday
morning for a Self-Assessment Module (SAM) session on spine imaging to obtain credit toward the Maintenance of Certification
(MOC) process. The program also features case-based and review lectures. The meeting should be of great value to residents and
fellows preparing for board and CAQ exams. Stump the ENRS Stars will be continued this year as an interactive session amongst
members for both learning and enjoyment.

Located in Pennsylvania, The Hotel Hershey has wonderful local attractions which are listed in this brochure. Amongst some
of those attractions are two golf courses on the property, (one 9 hole and one 18 hole). In addition to those courses, the Hershey
Country Club has two 18-hole courses available for your use. There is a spa, tennis and many other activities for adults and children.
These meetings of the Eastern Neuroradiological Society provide a unique opportunity to share the wealth of knowledge held by its
members. The collegial and relaxed setting has been rated as one of the meeting’s best features by all attending for many years. My
hope is to create a program that will stimulate and provide time for group discussions of all aspects of our professional lives.
We have a lot to talk about and the setting certainly couldn’t be better.

See you at The Hotel Hershey!
