I understand, accept, and acknowledge that the tours offered by Costa Rica Rios (Tyckle de Turrialba S.A.) and operated by independ-
ent and third parties located in Costa Rica, provides participation in adventure activities such as paddling and traveling in a raft and
kayak, participating in mountain biking, canyoning, canopy tours, ziplines, hiking, surfing, snorkeling, and/or participating in the other
scheduled and unscheduled activities, exposes me to many hazards. Some of the dangers and risks that may be present or occur in-
clude, but are not limited, to the following:

 •   The physical exertion associated with paddling, rafting, kayaking, swimming, mountain biking, climbing, repelling, zip lines, hiking,
     surfing or snorkeling and the potential injuries associated with such exertion.
 •   Water hazards including boulders, trees, and other obstacles, waterfalls, holes, reversals, and other water formations
 •   Swimming/floating in unfamiliar and sometimes turbulent water
 •   Using paddles, bicycles, ropes, and other equipment, and being among other using such equipment.
 •   Rescue attempts
 •   Hiking or walking in rugged terrain including slippery rocks
 •   Injuries or illnesses inflicted by animals, insects or plants
 •   Accidents or illness in remote places without medical facilities
 •   Man-made objects in the rivers, creeks, or trails including but not limited to ropes, wire, pilings, glass, and metal debris
 •   Carrying river equipment, as well as equipment used for biking and repelling.
 •   The forces of nature including but not limited to flash floods, landslides, falling objects, and earthquakes.
 •   Travel in a vehicle not driven by me, including over rough and unpredictable terrain.

I acknowledge that the above risks are inherent to the activity of whitewater paddling, kayaking, hiking, canyoning, biking, canopy tours,
rappelling, and other adventure activities in a remote jungle and ocean environment, and the enjoyment and excitement of these activi-
ties derive in part from the taking of such risks.

I am solely responsible for deciding to participate and continue in these activities. I assume these risks and understand my responsibil-
ity in decision-making.

In signing this document, I hereby acknowledge that I have read this statement and fully understand that participating in an activity with
third party providers mentioned above, entails risks of loss of life, personal injury, and loss of or damage to personal property. I hereby
assume all risk of injury or said losses, and specifically release Costa Rica Rios (Tyckle de Turrialba S.A.), and it’s representatives from
any and all liability, including negligence active or passive, as to any right of action or claim to relief that may accrue either for me to or
to my heirs or personal representatives for any such injury or loss. I assume all risk of injury of losses for activities preliminary and sub-
sequent to my participation in a trip with Costa Rica Rios (Tyckle de Turrialba S.A.), including but not limited to travel to and from Costa
Rica and any physical training I may undertake in preparation for this trip.

I further hold Costa Rica Rios (Tyckle de Turrialba S.A.), and its representatives harmless from any and all liability, actions, causes of
actions, debt claims, and demands of every kind and nature with which I now have which may arise from or in connection with my par-
ticipation in any activity with Costa Rica Rios (Tyckle de Turrialba S.A.), or related to any such activity.

I understand Costa Rica Rios (Tyckle de Turrialba S.A.) carries no travel insurance for the participants in its activities located in the
country of Costa Rica. I further agree that any disputes will be settled by the Costa Rica judicial system.

I herby grant Costa Rica Rios (Tyckle de Turrialba S.A.), the right to use, for promotional purposes only, any photographs taken of me
during my participation in their activities.
