2. Important Information
After upgrading your router to version 1.3, you should return the unit to factory defaults.
Due to the substantial number of improvements we have made to the product, It is
unfortunately not possible to use a saved configuration file to return the upgraded unit
back into the same pre-upgrade configuration. We therefore recommend that you make
a written note of any settings you have made to your router prior to starting the upgrade
process.

3. Known Issues for Release 1.3
3.1 Static Routes in WPA/WPA2 Mixed Mode
When using a DHCP service in mixed WPA and WPA2 environments, the static route
setting must be used.


4. Issues Resolved in Release 1.3
4.1 L2TP Throughput
Improvements have been made in this release of code to the L2TP throughput rates.

4.2 PPPoE Username and Password
Support for special characters (other than alphanumeric) for the PPPoE username and
password has been added in this release of code.

4.3 Content Filtering
Configurable content filtering for individual IP addresses has been resolved in this
release of code. In addition, this release increases the number of entries for URL and
keyword filtering.

4.4 L2TP Idle Timeout
In this release of code it is now possible to specify an L2TP idle timeout value

on the CD shipped with the product.
