                      people together and offering cash funding, opportunities and a
                      platform to showcase their work.

JOB DESCRIPTION       IdeasTap is looking to appoint a Marketing Manager for its website, an
                      innovative online resource to connect young people to creative arts

KEY DUTIES AND        1. IdeasTap marketing
RESPONSIBILITIES:           Initiate and implement both individual and brand wide
                              marketing strategies, from inception to completion.
                            Lead our email marketing strategy
                            Effectively manage our presence on third-party networking
                            Ability to write copy for both on and offline marketing
                            Create media releases and communicate with both press and
                              organisations to promote opportunities
                            Brand ambassador – ensure that the IdeasTap brand is
                              represented correctly at all times
                            Reporting to the Editor and Board with regular reports and
                              updates regarding marketing opportunities
                      2. Partner marketing
                           Offer marketing support and expertise to our partners
                      3. Online PR
                           Identify and build a relationship with key web journalists and
                      4. Line management responsibility
                            Manage the Marketing Assistant whose role is to maintain
                              social media day-to-day, build our marketing database and
                              support the work of the Marketing Manager
                      5. Shows/Exhibitions
                           Representing IdeasTap at graduate shows and industry events.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES   1. Understand and inhabit the spaces where our demographic reside
                      2. Previous experience of marketing to a youth demographic
                      3. Keen interest in the arts, particularly performing and visual arts
                          knowledge of arts press, organisations and educational
                             institutions an advantage
                              4. Excellent written and communication skills

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES           5. Proven track record in online marketing
                              6. Keen interest and understanding of digital media
                              7. Previous experience of basic html and working with a CMS an
                              8. Project management
                                  Manage a small team
                                  Manage the design and print process of materials
                                  Manage and implement multiple marketing strategies
                                  Budget management
                              9. Relationship management working directly with partners and
                              10. Creative thinker – confidence in developing and implementing
                              11. A thorough understanding of design
                              12. Good working knowledge required of design software
                                  programmes, specifically:
                                         - Illustrator
                                         - Photoshop
                                         - InDesign

REMUNERATION:                 £28,000 gross per annum according to experience.
                              Discretionary performance related bonus based on 10% of basic

HOURS OF WORK:                Fulltime role, based on 37.5 hours per week. Standard hours are
                              Monday to Friday inclusive, between 9:00am and 5:30pm (allowing an
                              hour for lunch) although flexibility is required to work around the
                              commitments of the business subject to agreement with the senior
