The path to a career you’ll enjoy
There are many ways CCAP can help. It all starts when you send us your résumé, indicating the type of job you’re looking for and the skills you can bring to CIBC. Here’s how it works: 1. We’ll review your résumé and determine if you’re eligible for this program. 2. If you are an eligible candidate, you will have the opportunity to discuss your skills and experience in detail with a Resourcing Consultant dedicated to this program. 3. If you’re ready for job interviews, we can help you find job opportunities at CIBC that are right for you. Alternatively, you could become part of a training program that may lead to employment opportunities with CIBC.
Pursue employment in a variety of areas.
We have many areas of opportunity that may be right for you. Aboriginal employees have established themselves throughout CIBC in a wide variety of departments and occupations. For example: Aboriginal Banking, Regional Manager Market a range of financial services to Aboriginal people – including personal banking services, credit products, investment portfolios and trust administration. Human Resources Consultant Develop, implement and support training strategies at CIBC. Personal Banking Representative Help CIBC customers get the products and services they need for their financial well-being. Technical Services Developer Plan, design and apply the technological solutions necessary to support the various departments at CIBC. No matter what path you take, you’ll have the opportunity to advance your career.

The CIBC Career Access Program (CCAP) is a unique program designed to help Aboriginal people find employment and build a career at CIBC. We’re a dedicated team of recruiters, outreach representatives and consultants who will support you during your job search. Through CCAP, you have access to valuable training, resources and support that are customized for you. Depending on your needs, we can help you prepare for interviews, upgrade your skills and gain relevant work experience.
Support that’s customized for you
The additional support you may receive will depend on your experience, skills and career goals. Your Resourcing Consultant will design the most rewarding program for you, which could include: • Direct-Hire Support to help you with résumé coaching, interview preparation and referrals to hiring managers and human resources managers. • Career Development to gain practical experience through contract employment opportunities.
