          Development of cutting-edge technology to support
           Military Hydrology. Assessment of flooding risks
           from extreme events, flood water levels from
           flashfloods, tracked vehicle trafficability on saturated
           soils.

               Development of new technology for modeling Fate
                and Transport of Military Relevant Compounds
                (RDX, DU, etc.) in the battlefield and training areas.

              Tech Transfer:
                   US Army Corps of Engineers – ERDC - CHL & EL
                     Long collaboration with ERDC-CHL & EL. Modules of CASC2D-
                      SED have been integrated into GSSHA for DoD applications.
                     Modules of TREX have been used by ERDC-EL for analysis of
                      Contaminant Transport Transfrormation and Fate (CTT&F).
                     Ongoing collaboration with ERDC-EL to publish on modeling of
                      RDX transport at Camp Shelby (in press at the J. Env. Modeling
                      and Software)
                   CASC2D-SED and TREX web sites with files and
                    examples.
