Age: 50 DUI arrests between 1997 and 2003; one arrest for reckless driving ■ Carter is back on the DA’s caseload, having disappeared again after being captured last fall. ■ She currently faces charges of driving under the influence and illegal cocaine use stemming from an arrest in December 2003. ■ She was arraigned on May 22 but failed to appear for her June 18 court date. She had been convicted three previous times for DUI, once in Pennsylvania, and was convicted of reckless driving in California.

2 DUI arrests, 1999 and 2006
■ Carino was arrested for misdemeanor DUI on Nov. 11, 1999, in another county – and was later convicted. ■ She was arrested again in Sacramento County on Feb. 26, 2006. Carino, who gave the arresting officer a Marysville address, failed to appear at her arraignment the following month.

■ Fregoso, also known as Maria Curiel, was first arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving in 2002 but failed to show up for her court arraignment. ■ She was charged again with misdemeanor DUI in February 2004 but did not appear in court the following month. ■ She skipped another scheduled arraignment in May 2008.

■ Rodriguez was first charged with misdemeanor DUI in 2005 and was convicted later of reckless driving. Also known as Jennifer Ellen Yettner, she was placed on three years’ informal probation and sentenced to seven days in the sheriff’s work project. ■ She was arrested again for suspected drunken driving in August 2006, when her blood alcohol was 0.16 percent – twice the legal limit. ■ She failed to report to the sheriff’s work project and recently was arrested.

■ Also known as Cindy
in another county in December 2002 for driving with a bloodalcohol level of 0.08 or above, a misdemeanor. She was convicted. ■ Lartigue was arrested again on Feb. 13, 2008, in Sacramento County on suspicion of driving under the influence but failed to appear at her arraignment on April 1, 2008.
■ Despois was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI on Jan. 15. She was arrested again on April 22 – her 22nd birthday – at a gas station in Folsom on suspicion of drunken driving and being under the influence of methadone. ■ In January, Despois gave the arresting officer a Roseville address. She gave the officer in April an address in Folsom. Tenants living at the Folsom duplex told investigators they had asked Despois to move out after the latest DUI arrest. She turned herself in Thursday.
Ha, Kateko was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI on June 13, 2008, while driving through midtown at 1:40 a.m., three years after the same charges had been filed against her. ■ She has failed to appear for her arraignments. District attorney’s investigators have located the young mother’s family members but, to date, have not found her.
Virgina Pathak
Age: 46 DUI arrests between 1987 and 2008

■ Pathak, who has numerous aliases, has been convicted at least four times of drunken driving, with a current case pending. ■ Her most recent arrest was on April 30, 2008, in Rancho Cordova. She did not show up for her arraignment on June 17, 2008. But that was not unusual for Pathak, who has failed to appear in court at least six times since 1991 on various charges, has given the Probation Department “invalid addresses” and has skipped her court-ordered drug testing, court records show. ■ In a May 1991 crash along Coloma Road, Pathak, then 28, was convicted of felony DUI after she turned her 1978 Datsun hatchback into the path of an oncoming Volvo station wagon, injuring four of her passengers.
Chasity ■ Allen was 19 when she was first arrested in October 2002 for Natasha misdemeanor DUI in Sacramento County. She was convicted of having a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent – in her case 0.19, far Allen

Her fourth drunken driving arrest, on Feb. 3, arrests automatically became a felony. between ■ In May, she was placed on five years’ formal probation and ordered to 2002 and serve 180 days in jail for her conviction of felony DUI (with three priors) 2009 and 365 days for her conviction of driving on a suspended or revoked license due to DUI (three prior offenses). Court papers show her blood-alcohol concentration in the 2009 case was 0.22 percent.
