responsibilities included: creating a program plan for the event,
and I was in charge of band management.
Special Events Administration
           “Mystery on Cherry Hill”
Benefitting LIVESTRONG Lance Armstrong Foundation

I was on the public relations committee for the event,
and the responsibilities included: creating a marketing campaign, creating
and distributing press releases, obtaining coverage for event, and overseeing
all collateral materials.
Meeting and Exposition Planning
Using a request for proposal, my group and I planned all aspects for a
Conference, including location, keynote speaker and gala dinner menu.
Liability and Risk Management
With a group I created a risk management plan for Hangtime Sports of Midland
MI, in that plan I identified all risks and also assessed the risks for the facility.
Apparel Design Analysis

In this class our project was to evaluated the elements and principles
of design in apparel, the two pictures shown are my evaluation of the pictures
in terms of space and repetition.
           Space ~
Any Visual design can be defined as the
“organization of space,” as it invites manipulation.
The space in this dress is the empty space from the
           bust line down.
Physical effect is that it makes her look longer.
Psychological effect is creating rest and relief.

Repetition ~
The use of the same thing more than once,
arranged in different places. The repetition
in the garment is between the two different fabrics
going down the body.
Physical effect is emphasing the unity of the
whole garment.
Psychological effect is reassuring and bold.
Fashion Merchandising

Trend Forecasting:

With a group I created trend boards displaying color, silhouette,
fabrication, print and mood, for Fall 2009.
Visual Merchandising

I constructed window displays using visual merchandising
and promotional techniques.
Fashion Advertising & Promotion

I utilized procedures, methods and techniques in fashion promotion to create
a new fashion brand.
Internship Experience
Shapes Dress Design Studio
Royal Oak, MI
Retail Management

During the summer of 2010 I completed my internship in retail management,
within that time I gained knowledge of management duties needed to run
a small boutique, completed various window and floor displays, and also
attended a buying conference and participated in the actual buying process.
Fashion Buying

I learned the fundamentals of buying in the fashion industry, buying
calculations, and completed a six-month plan for a company.
Computer Aided Design
I used Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to create garments,
patterns, prints and concept boards.
Advanced Computer Aided Design

I used Lectra Kaledo software to create garments, motifs and patterns.
